LIST PICK

LAMBRINI GIRLS LOVE

Zooming in on the difference between healthy adoration and something sinister in disguise, 'Love' is the visceral new single from Lambrini Girls. Set to appear on their debut album Who Let The Dogs Out, alongside former List Pick 'Big Dick Energy' and the riotous 'Company Culture', 'Love' is ferocious in spite of its potentially soppy title. Produced with Gilla Band's Daniel Fox, Pheobe Lunny and Lily Macieira's duelling guitars open the track before Lunny's signature snarl spits home truths over pounding drums and Macieira's filthy rotten bass line. They explain: “When love is learned through chaos, pain feels like connection. It’s the cycle of chasing affection through suffering and holding on because you’ve never known anything else. It’s about the bitterness and resentment from trying to find something, only to realise it remains elusive. What this song conveys isn’t love at all; in fact, it’s very opposite.” Who Let The Dogs Out will arrive on the 10th of January 2025 via City Slang.
